Christmas decorations and ornaments

Christmas decoration began in 1500. Christmas ornaments on the trees began in Germany. In Latvia around 1510 a fir tree (which is a traditional Christmas tree today) was decorated with pink trim. Then they began to use the wafers, nuts, and candles. Christmas ornaments also biscuits and sweets were being used and are still used today. Mothers and children get together and bake the cookies and candy and decorate them to hang on the Christmas tree. Some families make this a tradition every Christmas. In previous years there were also painted wooden ornaments and blown glass purposes.

To date the most beautiful Christmas decorations come from Germany. Many ornaments have a story behind them and are passed from generation to generation. Christmas decorations have many fond memories for families. The ornaments have a road map memory for all families.
The Christmas holiday is celebrated around the world. It is the birth of Jesus Christ. The stories come from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. The cribs, which almost every household has and displays, is a replica of the birthplace of Jesus. Once again the most beautiful cribs are made in Germany. They are called birth care. Christmas is the time of year when families gather and exchange gifts cards, and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and families pray together and share memories. Christmas Day is December 25. It is preceded by Christmas Eve on 24 December and is followed by Boxing Day on December 26.

Another popular green holly at Christmas is believed to have magical powers. Germans considered holly to be a good luck charm against the enemies of the shelters. As the Christmas season has grown over the centuries, food has become important. A batch of cookies, candy and sweetened fruit are prepared weeks in advance took place on Christmas Day.
